Destin8 – Major System Change 8 September 2009...

Release notes - Version 2.2.0

DES-2462
Port Health - to improve the automated interface with Port Health a number of inter system link manifest messages have been added to the range of output available to Port Health authorities.

DES-2380 - OUT
transaction now displays a warning message where there is a mismatch of the number of packages being outgated to that manifested against the consignment at 12 and 14 digit UCN level.

DES-2370 - EBM
functionality added to allow input of out of gauge (OOG) details to the export UCN on import transhipments.

DES-2360 - VHA/VHD
validation added to stop output of MCA03/05 messages where transactions completed prior to vessel arrival.

DES-2352 - MFC/MFA
functionality added to allow input of Original Port of Origin (OPOO) on import consignments. The OPOO details have also been added to MCR, MAM and INQ inter system link and text output messaging.

DES-2348 EBK/ECT/TPU/RT*
due to changes in Maritime Statistics reporting requirements the use of ZZOPT as a port of destination for full units has been disabled.

DES-2333 HZM
notification now generated to affected parties where a cargo broker's dangerous cargo manifest is reset by the lead agent.

DES-2319 - LHX/PHS
To improve operational efficiency and avoid additional dwell time whenever a local hold or port health hold is required to be applied after clearance, a change has been made to allow for the hold to be set irrespective of clearance status. Where this scenario occurs i.e. an import consignment has had a RRA01 and/or RRA03 release note generated or a transhipment where the export consignment has received load authority, a new message CCS02 (Removal Note Cancellation) will be issued and sent to the wharfinger, cargo broker, nominated agent and releasee in text and/or ISL format. Once the consignment has been released from local or port health hold a new RRA01 and/or RRA03 will be generated to notify interested parties of the status change. For transhipments an ECS01 and RRA05 will also be sent whenever the hold status on the export consignment is updated, an ELX01 if the load authority is removed and an ELP01 when load authority is re-issued.

DES-2288 - HZQ
all dangerous cargo enquiries and validation of hazardous substances will now be based on IMDG amendment 34-08 as released on the 1 January 2009 and legally enforced with effect from 1 January 2010.

DES-2259 - RRA
output of the RRA12 message (Amalgamation Clearance Advice) now also available in inter system link (ISL) format.

DES-2106 - MCA
when amalgamating consignments by bill of lading number a checkbox has been added and all consignments related to the bill of lading are auto primed for amalgamation.

DES-951 - UMC
the nominated agent is now validated against the working port and the nominated agent field auto primed with the requestors company code.

DES-731 - EBM
can now be used to enter or amend a UCR against export consignments created as a result of transactions RTR and RTX. Issues:

DES-2552 - CHF
CUSRES responses (E0) extended to allow up to 99 ERP segments being returned.

DES-2510 - CUSCAR
CUS01 output now shows correct warning where items have been rejected where a single GID has been submitted for multiple units.

DES-2482 - RPV
corrects a display issue on selected option (old/new sequencing)

DES-2464 - EDU
corrects an issue where amendments incorrectly removed load authority.

DES-2332 - IFTDGN
corrects an issue where the correct number of packages were not processed and displayed. A number of other issues also form part of this release but are not specified as they are directly related to the Destin8 infrastructure and do not impact externally.
